Corporate Profile:
We are not so big as to be unwieldy. Nor are we too small as to write ourselves off. We have been in existence for not too long. But, for an outfit only into its seventh year since inception (2002), our accomplishments are enough to merit this profile. Of course, there are more goals to achieve than achieved. And there is hope, confidence, awareness of available resources and realistic self-appraisal that we will reach those seemingly daunting tasks.
What makes those daunting tasks "seemingly" so is our like-minded quality and single-minded purpose. Who are we? We are members of Pragathi Syndicate, some 250 in number and still growing. Variety to this homogeneous group comes from the diverse background of its constituents who bring with them members of their families to make Pragathi potentate.
Pragathi is unique in that families seamlessly integrate into it. Anything that interests any individual constituent becomes common interest. Pragathi encourages, identifies and fuels individual dreams and those dreams invariably conform to Pragathi's public-spiritedness.
Pragathi Syndicate is poised to get registered as an NGO. This big banyan tree will have under its shelter constituent branches to take up varied activities in the public domain. Pragathi Syndicate is a well known name in Karnataka State for its wide range of social, cultural and service activities conducted periodically.
Blood donation camps, help and recreation to destitute senior citizens, orphanage children and all deserving people have chiefly characterised Pragathi's activities thus far. It launched an exclusive project "Clean Hand" in association with Bangalore Bias, a premier evening English daily. It had invited for the launch the redoubtable Lokayuktha, Mr.Santhosh Hegde, former justice in the Supreme Court of India, as the chief guest.
Pragathi also rallied behind Coalition against Corruption, a movement launched in association with Public Affairs Centre, National Federation of Indian Women, Mahiti Hakku Jagruti Vedike, Mahiti Hakku Adhyayana Kendra, Brashtachara Nirmoolana Vedike, Fight Corruption Now Forum, Consumer Care Society, Consumer Care Education and Awareness Trust, Swabhimana, Karuna Trust, National Federation of Women Lawyers, Karnataka Chapter.
Pragathi is proud of its talent pool. It has both achievers and the ambitious in its ranks. Appropriately enough, it is quick to identify and honour the extra-ordinary women and men in society. It makes sure that those chosen for felicitation are not those who hanker for awards and recognition. This approach is in tune with Pragathi's concern for quality in its every endeavour.
Pragathi Syndicate is the brain-child of its present Advisory Committee Members Mr.K G Sreenivasa Murthy,Mr.C N Ramesh.Mr.B H Shivakumar and all founding members.

Management & Organisation Structure:
Executive Committee Members of Pragathi are elected for a term of one year at its Annual General Body Meeting for three sections – Economic & Legal Advisory Committee, Sports & Cultural Activities Committee and Social Service & Corporate Communication Committee. Heads to these three committees are elected once in three years. Besides Heads, there will be one Secretary for a period of 3 years general administrative functions. The present core key executives of Pragathi are:

pragathi Syndicate is a community with lots of talented people where we gathere together every month and discuss about the new projects and other activites. It is the community where i have seen with lots of events every year. I would like to thank all the committe members for making it possible.
